My issue is light on-off using smartthings button took 2 to 3 sec.
The light which is connected to the Zigbee socket is 20 to 30 away from the hub and the button. In between socket and hub, there is Zigbee repeater is added.
if a button comes near to hub it works fine, but if it is placed near to Zigbee repeater it works slowly.
What will be the reason for slow operations?
I would say that even though you have a repeater in your mesh, it’s not being used since all those devices are within a decent range of the hub. I suspect the hub is the only and “next” hop for all your devices. Check in the IDE and look for “next hop” for your Zigbee devices. It should look like this:
If you do not see your repeater as the next hop for the button, that’s probably why. You can remove the button from ST and rejoin it right next to the repeater to see if that forces it to use that instead of your hub.
Or could try unplugging the hub (and removing batteries if a v2) for 30 to 45 minutes, forcing the mesh to rebuild itself.
