Custom device type question/problems

I’ve got two annoying things on my plate, hope someone knows the answers, it would be much appreciated.

  1. How do you delete previously defined preferences?
    The previous values and keys persist even after the references are removed from the current device and it’s been re-published. I’m sure deleting the device would work, but that’s a bit of a pain to re-join everything that’s been contaminated…

  2. standartTile actions that work from the IDE, both via the custom command and the tile, but not from the app…
    Updating the device, logging out of the app, killing it, nothing seems to work…
    Thoughts on where to go on this account?

And just like automagic, problem 2 goes away on its own…

Problem 1, however has been around for weeks…

You can’t. Uninstalling device or app is the only way.
