Completely useless today

Yup, same here! Cloud is pretty much hosed, but the local processing is going strong for me. Time will tell how long it will last

My sunrise routine didn’t run this morning. I am on V1 and to this point, I have avoided most of the issues lately that seem to be plaguing v2 folks.

I find this really interesting. My experience with V1 was the exact opposite. V1 was so bad for me that my automation was only 50% reliable.

I have stayed on V1, and don’t seem to have as many issues as my 2 friends with V2 hubs.

Any of you all have Time Warner Cable? I know they had some huge issues yesterday evning which was affecting a lot of the cloud based tasks and devices that I have. Had to reset everything this morning, things are back to normal.

If that’s the case why does the st status board show all green???

I’m not on Time Warner. My ā€œturn off after inactivityā€ stopped working in the last day or two. The motion sensor works fine, the lights turn on, but they don’t turn off again. We haven’t changed anything. It appears to be a scheduler issue. Very annoying.

They broke it today so they can say tomorrow’s update fixed something.

Looks like they are acknowledging it now officially.

missing all the schedules in both V2 and V1 (one is for my dad). Yesterday night some worked, but today nothing.

http://status.smartthings.com/ Platform issues. I’m not sure, but it really feels like things are slowly get worse all the time, not better. Not encouraging…

Same here. Morning lights didn’t come on, motion activated lights don’t turn off… I’m having a hard time selling my husband on how wonderful this all is :stuck_out_tongue:

What is the point of allowing us to subscribe to SMS notifications of service alerts if that page is a total lie anyway.

I’ve had a number of issues this morning across all sorts of devices and continue to have incorrect information in my smarthings app about the state of things.

I’ve yet to receive any SMS notification of issues with the system that TIM SLAGLE acknowledged 12 hours ago.

This is getting beyond ridiculous.

We updated our status page this morning, so if you didn’t receive a notification i’d make sure you are setup properly with statuspage.io

The last Smarthings Status text I got was on Jan 13th @ 8:35am about the resolved ā€œRoutine Execution Issuesā€. I haven’t changed anything about my setup so I have no reason to think it’s not working now.

I got my text this morning. IDK how statuspage.io does there SMS, but it may need to be updated or something. Not to sure why I got it and you didn’t.

managed to get everything working again today. I removed all my bulbs (Hue, and LiFX) including the Hue bridge and smartapp.

I then went through the process of adding everything back. So far since adding all the bulbs and bridge back in, everything is working as expected. Turns out I had my LiFX bulb on/off controlled via smartthings through my Echo. Now that it’s working in smartthings it is also working correctly via the Echo. I do have to change colors with the Alexa skill though.

At the end of the day I am once again pleased with the operation of my smartishhome,

Hopefully this doesn’t happen again…

Yup. Time warner was having DNS issues. It was effecting how things were being routed.

@slagle, @Ben: Although I think the ā€œall clearā€ status update earlier today was a bit premature, it looks like it was a solid fix. Good job, and please pass along thanks to all those who worked behind the scenes to make it happen.
:v:

It’s still broken. Status page confirms continued issues so they get no thanks from me yet. I can’t control anything locally or through the cloud which is odd as local should still work.
