So i have a samsung RS28A500A fridge and my first attempt to connect it to smart things app failed.
read some posts and tried again after changing my network to 2.4hgzonly and wpa2 only. still didn’t work.
i see the fridge is still generating its temporary fridge wifi network and the process in the app didn’t go the exact same way the second time.
so id like to factory reset the fridge or at least reset the network settings to try again completely fresh
cant find how to do this. Samsung support claimed the only way to reset is to power cycle fridge which doesn’t work. and clearly couldn’t be right anyway since you dont have to set up again in smart things every time there is power outage.
various methods on internet like holding down lock button or holding down power cool and power freeze also dont work
samsung says they have no tier 2 or tier 3 support
any suggestion on how to reset this fridge or reset the network setting on it
