Happened to me again today. Seems once a month for me.
BloomSky sure is slow updating back to standard time … same issue earlier this year when changing to DST
I’m more (un)amused by the email update that Skies won’t be shipped until the end of November at the earliest, " because of the exploding Samsung phones" issue.
Yeah, I thought that was … unamusing.
Seems like it’s been so long since I filled out that survey about the mounts that I forgot what I chose — I think it was the tower mast
I know I picked the tripod, so I can put it on the peak of the roof. It needs to hurry up. I need to tighten up the guide wires for TV antenna and don’t like ( am not allowed) to go up there more than absolutely necessary
It so far has not created a device for me after following the instructions. I do have the new Sky2, so I’m wondering if that matters. Doing the API key seemed to work fine.

I’m still waiting for my Storm. Went from delayed waiting for mounts, to delayed due to battery shipping restrictions. Looking like early October is quickly becoming December.
having to reauthorize IFTTT has dramatically increased - super annoying.
anyone else having update issues with their Bloomsky? mine will send reports about every 3 hours or so thats it
Are you talking about update to BS, or updates to ST ? The ST app only updates with a change, so if temp or humidity has not changed it does not update. It does not update with the picture every 3-5 minutes.
I’m talking with BS the ST app is working fine but for about a week my BS hasn’t been updating regularly and now i can’t even log into the BS app or portal.
I just got an email from Weather Underground saying that it was offline. So I checked the mobile app to see if it was reporting and I can’t find it. Then I tried to login to the dashboard via their website and it says that I don’t have a login. Maybe BloomSky has turned to pure BS. Anyone else seeing anything similar?
I get a " Whoops! Something went wrong" when I open the app.
So looks like we can add BS to all of the things having cloud/server issues this week.
Update
I got the app to open 1 of my BS after a FC of the app. The last update was 1:38pm ( obviously not today since it is only 10:23 here) Judging by the sky/cloud, temperature I would guess that it is 2-3 days old.
I know I’ve been getting my " it’s raining" alerts though.
Every time lapse gives a pop-up of Looks like there is no time lapse for that day.
About 2 weeks ago, my BSky daily time elapses would miss about 5 hours in the middle of a sunny day. They’ve been working perfect for the last week.
App works but looks like no updates on anybodys station since 6:05pm EST last night. Even people in the west coast show last update at 3:05pm Cleaning crew must have knocked out the server plug. LOL
And then the Error popped up in the app “something went wrong”
I can’t login anymore. I guess it was good while the POS lasted (6 months).
I’m not an expert on anything (at least that’s what my wife tells me). Hoping this is just some kind of cloud server problem on their end. They already took out about $110 from my bank for the storm I ordered & hope to get in the next few weeks.

I wouldn’t call it a POS. I will say that CS disappearing after ST community got the ST integration working after BS couldn’t did not impress me.
I have been waiting almost 3 months for any reply from them about the barometer not working on one of mine. The same unit that stopped charging and shows a lower battery level plugged into A/C adapter than my original one does running of the solar panel. Dies within 2-3 days on unplugging a/c and putting it back on solar panel.
Wow you people are brutal. A server goes down and it’s all the end of BS. Relax, hello do we all forget how bad Smart Things reliability was in the past? Time changes still glitch since V1 hub. Give BS a break, They just added Sky 2 shipments this week. I’m sure just like ST thier servers got taxed with all the new ads. It happens way to often these days.
Maybe I’m missing the point, but it sounds likes BS is a POS (whether due to CS or HW or Cloud).
