Bitten in the ass twice tonight

Worked a double shift today so was at work until midnight. About 5 tool my phone dings and I open it to see that all my lights turned on and my front door unlocked. Well crap. Laying in bed just now when it did it again! I’m calling it right now. What ever happened today with the outage is causing screwy stuff. Arrive home is the only routine I still have enabled. Looks like it’s fine to dunno that and get it moved over to rule machine. Thank God it didn’t wake the wife up. She would have had my ass. A tad frustrating to say the least.

Ok so last night after this happened twice I went ahead and deleted the routine that was the issue. Thought I was good until this morning when it triggered again. Also, my wife came in while I was getting ready for work and asked if I had turned the lights off. I told her no. Then she walked back into the living room and said never mind, looks like they came right back on.

So what do I need to do to get this cleared from my system. Cant have my door unlocking when ever it feels like. Need to get it cleared until ST get that figured out.

what is your door unlock trigger?

The unlock and lights on trigger is my arrival. I wasnt so concerned about it last night as I knew routines had issues so I used them knowing that. My concern is that the routine ran on my way to work at 830AM even though I had deleted the routine the night before at 1:30AM.

Have you tried logging into the IDE and verifying it was actually removed? I’ve heard of other people having sync issues between the cloud and their mobile app. Maybe it wasn’t actually removed.

Once on the IDE click on:
My Locations --> List SmartApps

Under Hello Home, is the routine still listed?

It is not listed. Doesnt mean it wasnt at the time and just finally caught up though right? Any way to see in the log when it got dumped? System hasnt unlocked all day since the first one.

Sorry, I don’t think there is. At least I don’t know of one.

Ok then. Guess its a wait and see. Thanks for the help man.

you may want to look at the logs of the device to see why it unlocked, if the routine didn’t do it.

You’ll see stuff like:
APP_COMMAND = An app or routine told the drive to do this.
DEVICE = Someone manually did this to the device.
