I’m sorry, I don’t know exactly which models integrate with SmartThings, or what features are exposed in the integration. 
Ring devices compatible with SmartThings
The integration exposes doorbell pressed, battery level and motion for routines. There is a widget in the ST App which shows a screen shot and you can integrate with your door lock.
As a former Ring subscriber I recommend an Aqara G4 or G410 doorbell which has no subscription for watching history.

No. I have an Aqara M100 USB stick hub for automating face recognition by the G4 to unlock the U200 door lock.
