Aqara M3 hub binding with SmartThings hub V3

Fox

I got a new Aqara M3 hub with latest version (4.3.0-0004) and tried to bind to smartthings V3 hub with latest version (000-045-00014) through matter pairing.
When I tried to do so, I got error code: 39-517.
Note that both hubs and my phone are in the same network. Also it’s already added to home cloud and it showed I’m Aqara app that smartthings is connected, but still not completed in smatthings app…
I read some articles in the community but no solution yet. Anyone could resolve this issue?!

Is your Aqara hub in pairing mode when you’re trying to add it to the ST hub?

Hopefully that is a typo and you actually meant 54.14 and not 45.14. You can leave out the zeros when reporting the version.

Press and hold the reset button on the M3 for 10 seconds to unbind from any networks.
Add to Aqara home app and check for any firmware updates.
In SmartThings add device, scan nearby, scan qr code on the user manual or enter the 11 digit code to add the device.

Yes it was in pairing mode

You are correct, it’s 54.14

That’s exactly what I tried several times but still same issue

Already contacted Aqara support before who declared that the issue is with smartthings hub and not their hub as Aqara hub already connected to home cloud cloud and smartthings is listed in link services in Aqara App…

Gentlemen,

This is to let you know that my issue is resolved and M3 hub already bonded with smartthings V3, below is how to resolve in case you face the same issue.

Using my iPhone, I navigate to settings → general → matter accessories and then deleted Aqara hub M3 and then tried binding again where I succeeded.

Hopefully this will help you guys
