Anyone else ready to sue Samsung for allowing Ads in my valuable “ Smart Things Hub” to alert you at 5:00 am, not for an intruder… but for an Ad for the Olympics?

I was just awakened at 5:40 am in my “ Smart Things” App by not an intruder in my home, but an intruder in my valuable air space for alerts- a stupid Olympics Ad. You are in for a major law suit. Ads should not allowed in this App.

The terms of service for SmartThings, which you agreed to when you Installed the app, specifically say that you will not participate in a class action against them. Just sayin’… :wink:

Samsung is one of the largest companies in the world. Their shields are up. :shield::shield::shield:

All of that said, personally, I agree with you. Ads don’t belong in a Home Automation management app. :rage:

I have “Suggestion notifications” and “Suggestion cards” disabled in the settings, maybe that’s the category for that ad.

I have never seen an ad in the SmartThings app. I also have “Suggestion notifications” and “Suggestion cards” disabled in the settings.

Seems easier to sue than to turn those things on!
