Just pre-ordered one of these. I’ve seen a lot of integration where you can trigger Smartthings actions by asking Alexa, is there anything out yet that allows the reverse? Something that would allow you to use smartthings to get the echo dot to play music/sounds? Would love to be able to use these with some old speaker docks to get alerts when Smartthings detects certain conditions.

Not yet. Alexa does not allow for notifications to occur automatically but you could use the AskAlexa smartapp. Just search for it on these forums. However there has been some news that Amazon is planning a software update to allow notifications. Possibly later this year.
