This is frustrating! I bought three Aeotec smartswitch6’s from Amazon and they not only won’t pair, there is no way to choose them to pair manually.
Anybody have a solution???

Problem solved.
To pair a AOTEC smartswitch 6 manually choose dimmers in either the new or old app. Then Aotech in the new ap, or drop down thge the aotec smartswitch6 in the old app.
The big takeaway is to choose Dimmers Not Outlets.
