We will begin rolling out Samsung SmartThings Hub firmware version 0.54.14 starting on Monday November 4th. We will update the status page when the release is complete.

Samsung SmartThings Hub 2015 (Hub v2)
Samsung SmartThings Hub 2018 (Hub v3)
Aeotec Smart Home Hub
Release Date:04 Nov 2024 - 11 Nov 2024

increase the transition of oflline time, so we wonāt receive false offline states from zigbee devices that works on battery, that didnāt report status within 2 hours. I prefer 10 hours.
This might explain why none of my matter devices are coming back online after some power outages. Cant for the life of me get them working. Also a load of Zigbee sockets keep dropping offline for no reason. Hopefully this sorts it
No, but a ārare issueā being mentioned in brief release notes suggests it affected something pretty fundamental rather than something obscure. It could even be something as basic as encountering improbably long device names when onboarding.
Iām having the same issue and find turning of sharing for the matter device allows SmartThings to pick it up. I cancel the request but it comes back on line
How long does it nomrally take for the update to get pushed to everyone?
Iām trying to sort how patient I need to be. My hub is currently almost as useful as a frisbee, but have been told that this .14 hotfix will fix my issues.
My concern is that my hub has a hard time responding to the internet. It always says it is āonlineā, but all other indications point to limitied or no connectivity (on and off). If it is in one of these āzombieā states when Samsung tries to push an update to it and it fails, how does one proceed to force an update?
Aoetec Hub went offline and solid blue light around 11am today. Have tried several reboots since of both modem and hub. Still at solid blue light. I dont want to do factory reset as ill have to add all devices again.
Thanks jkp. I tried the soft reset again and if went purple, flashing yellow, blue and finally green. So the hub is back online with the latest version of firmware installed. Most of my devices appead offline so ill likely have to readd them individually.
Iām wondering if my hub will actually be able to recieve the update. My hub usually stays āonlineā, however, about an hour after I reboot the hub, it goes unresponsive. Unable to ping via ST/advanced or control any devices. If I reboot it works great for another hour or so.
This behavior makes me wonder if it will miss all the attempted firmware update pushes.
