This is a newbie question.
I got Monoproce Garage door sensor. Created a new device using the Door/Window sensor (since open close is good for my use)
But how can I make the hub recognize the sensor, I cannot find a step by step on adding / pairing the device to the hub.

is it not finding it with the normal add device process? you shouldn’t need a custom device handler.
I added the device, but isn’t the device need to be paired also?
adding and pairing are typically used interchangeably. You jsut need to open the app, select the My Home section, Things tab, and press the + button in the upper right. Then put the device in pairing mode (usually just pulling the battery tab if its new)
