60.X Customer Beta Release Notes - V2/V3/Aeotec/ThingsOne Hubs

Do you mean the Customer Support team?
Since the rollout has already begun, the team needs to add you manually to get version 60.7.
To do so, we need your Hub’s EUI, which you can find in the Advanced Users App, please.
Although, we don’t know if this update will help your case, it would be a great place to start.

@nayelyz This 60.X release doesn’t look like it was released in GitHub for testing. Do you know if the team intended to tag it? Posting the betas (lua libs) would allow devs to perform testing and review the system libraries for breaking changes.

Do you have an estimate on how long this will take? Been try to get this resolved for weeks now.

Hi, @fredfon
You will be added in a few minutes. The engineering team mentioned that you still need to enroll as mentioned here: New Easy Way to Enroll in the Hub Firmware Beta Program!
To ensure that you receive the next Beta releases, otherwise, you’ll only receive this one.

Hi @blueyetisoftware

The Lua libraries are published to the repository once the firmware version moves to production (available to all users), which is why you can’t see them yet.

We’ll check with the team on what options are available for beta testing for LAN drivers, and we’ll let you know as soon as we have an update.

Thanks. They have previously tagged some of the betas but not all of them. My request is basically that they tag it before they push it out. I have a pipeline setup to test against new versions. If so, I can flag conflicts before they arise. I have found a number of networking and capability issues in the past, but couldn’t diagnose them until the firmware had already been pushed out and impacted users. Thanks.

@Itati They just tagged the latest version in the repo. I’ll give it a look. Thank you very much.

2 posts were split to a new topic: CO smoke sensor

Today I received the update to version 60.8, and almost all devices came back online afterwards - except for Wasserlecksensor in room Küche.

Time: immediately after the reboot (~10:00 UTC)

Same email, logs dumped.

60.8 arrived here too. What’s new over 60.7 if I may ask?

Hi, @Andreas_Roedl
Did you try to restart the hub to see if it comes back? This is just to check in case the first reboot didn’t get the chance to ping the device and check its health.

Power cycled the V4 ten minutes ago and the Wasserlecksensor in the Küche didn’t come back. It’s an IKEA KLIPPBOK, so it’s probably a device issue.

Dumping the log again - just in case. I have to resurrect the device now, though, because I have to leave.

please add to beta firmware Hub EUI

A post was split to a new topic: Devices offline (Beta firmware 60.X)

Just got the update, while no device was marked as offline after the update, the BILRESA buttons didn’t actually work until around 15 minutes later.

At this point I’m quite sure it’s a BILRESA problem that needs a firmware update, at least this time I didn’t have to factory reset them (again)

Same here. In contrast to the last update, this time, everything came back online immediately.

Can we please see what changed from 60.8 to 60.9? I’ve been having a weird problem with Matter/Thread lamps, which seems to have disappeared last night - and the only thing that visibly changed was the hub updating to 60.9.

Thanks!
