Zwave energy sockets

I dont use the forum much these days so not sure if the issue i have is common

I use Zwave Greenwave energy sockets, before the new ST we used to have full control of the devices inc resetting energy amounts amongst other options

Ok so new ST came along and all the options and readouts we used to have became no more, Mariano kindly added the device to his driver so we could see power and energy useage

However, nowadays the energy and power meters no longer show any output measurements if anything is plugged into the socket, i have tried the ST Zwave driver and Marianos ?

Is it a driver issue or more likely another ST degradation and lack of love for Zwave !

It’s a sensational technology and much more stable than any other I’ve ever used, but unfortunately, it’s in decline due to a lack of new products and updates…

I think its lack of love for this product. I’m in the same boat, although I never had full functionality. At this point I can control things only with Mariano’s driver. I plugged the outlet strip into matter plug so I see total energy consumption.

Annoying really, what is the point of having automations that allow for Power above, below, equal to when ST seemingly have killed Power sensing sockets, would have been useful to shut of a socket when something is fully charged and output drops below an expected amount

So much lost in favour of washing machines and fridges

I have a CoolCam Zwave energy socket with the “Z-Wave Switch” driver and it shows power (Watt) and energy consumption (kWh).

Have you tried that one?

PS need a Z-Wave tool to reset energymeter (RESET_METER).

PS/2 I use them for washingmachine and dryer. Signals the end of the program and leak sensor on the ground switches them off.
