Zooz device handler

Hello

Last week, someone told me that zooz has a device handler to set a custom property to keep the switch off after a power outage and it work great!

My question is, if I use this device handler on a non-zooz switch/device, this feature won’t work right ? This feature is built in in the device, not just with the software ?

Correct. The device handler cant enable features not implemented by hardware if they’re not there.
