Is this still an open issue for anyone? My Sengled dimmer bulbs disconnect multiple times a day. Hoping for a solution as the wife is starting to think the bulbs are possessed (the bulbs fade in and out for three min every time they disconnect)
She already thinks the government is listening to us through Alexa… I don’t need to add fuel to the fire!
I know this is a pretty old thread, however about a month ago, my Iris contacts (2) and Iris motion sensor (1) seems to randomly work then not work. I don’t have any bulbs of any kind, only GE switches. Tried Zigbee heal several times with no luck
Even swapped 1 of my contacts with a spare and have the same issues.
Yesterday I added 2 Iris Smart Plugs, in between the hub and each contact/motion sensor, did another Zigbee heal, no luck
Maybe you are getting some 2.4ghz (wifi, microwave, wireless phone, etc.) interference? I usually like to keep my smartthings hub and wifi router about 8 feet apart. When you did the Zigbee heal, you did a complete power down for about 15 minutes?
Powered off he ST hub for about 20 mins last night about 7pm. No changes in Microwave, phones… but… lcation of the ST hub might be an issue, I moved to a Google Wi-Fi back in late Sept so you might be onto something. Now to figure out how to separate them. Doh
Unfortunately the channel can’t be changed on Google Wi-Fi, nor can I see a way to change the Zigbee channel in ST. My only option is to try and separate the 2 devices, unless there are other things that we haven’t covered yet
Well here is an update. Since I added two Zigbee repeaters, my Zigbee devices have worked w/o a hitch AND, I didn’t even move my ST hub, my Google Wi-Fi access point is still sitting on top of my ST hub
Before the repeaters, I couldn’t go a single day w/o something not working, it’s now been 3 days
I’ve got Iris zigbee wall plugs everywhere just acting as repeaters. Makes a huge difference in my zigbee mesh performance. Glad you got yours worked out too!
