Yale Assure Lock 2 series (released September 2022)

The Yale Assure Lock 2 series has integrated Bluetooth and Apple Home support, but the real magic comes from its swappable networking modules. There’s one for Z-Wave, one for Wi-Fi, and one for Matter, and they’re all compatible with first-gen Assure locks

I’ve been waiting for the new Matter module for this lock for several months. Given that there is no certainty on it coming and I’m hearing it doesn’t do much, I’ve debated getting the z wave one instead. The reviews on the Yale website for z wave module aren’t good. Does anyone have experience with Zwave and this lock?

I have 3 of them, all working properly. I replaced 3 Nest X Yale locks and these seemed to be the closest alternative. All 3 of mine are the ZWave edition. I did get the RBoy driver as it enabled many more of the features of the lock that were not available in the generic driver.
