Without physical device

hi I want to use device type handler just to show data on the app and service manager will be connected to a cloud to get the data. So it will be like … cloud -> service manager -> device handler -> show on app. But I am not sure If this can be done in smartThings cause it seems that smartthings want me to have physical device to make a device handler. So, if anyone know solution, tell me plz!!

Look at the weather tile device type. It’s just a display for data. There is no physical device.
