I have a galaxy tab A with v 7.1.1 android software and currently there is no smart thing find function on the Smart things app. Will updating my software fix this problem?

We always recommend updating to the latest version(s) for your devices for the best usage.
Note: Smart Things Find is not compatible with Verizon Wireless Network and device compatibility/features may vary by Area. They must be signed into your Samsung Account and listed as a device that has been setup with FindMyMobile.
