There’s already been some talk between SmartThings and this guy. It looks possible that you’d be able to control the strip right though SmartThings. More expensive than your strip, but it has four outlets, plus two USB ports, so that’s a plus.

Of course, with this option we’re talking next Christmas, not this one! :slight_smile:

Those look like options. What I l like about the one I linked though is it is WiFi. Zwave/zigbee works great for simple on/off commands, but it can only send out one command at a time, and isn’t very good at rapid macros. With a WiFi strip I bet it would be fast enough to setup advanced lightshows.
