Confirming that deleting and re-adding appears to the the fix. So, the conversion of existing devices to LAN devices appears to break a link somewhere. Now I have 8 more Wemos I need to delete and add back along with all the automations. Grrr. UPDATE: Well, as others reported, this only worked temporarily. I am back to the Thing status not updating unless you refresh.
