Wemo smart plugs offline per SmartThings Hub after working years problem free

I have a smartthings hub that I setup back in 2019 when I selected the Rboy LUM smart app to use for lock code management for our rental home. After getting that up and running I added all the Wemos that we already had, our Honeywell thermostat and our ring doorbell and spotlight cameras to the Smartthings hub, and setup some automations. All worked perfectly fine for two years. After our last renters checked out I tried to change the house to away mode, and smartthings responded that the automation ran, but some devices didn’t work, and it listed all 13 of the wemo devices, and showed them all as offline. But when I checked the Wemo app all of them were online and responsive. This may or may not be associated with the wemo problem as I have noticed it for a longer time, but the hub is been less than stable for a couple months now, where I get the notification “Your hub is disconnected. Devices connected to this hub aren’t working. Check to make sure your hub is connected to the network.” multiple times per day. Then without any intervention I will get the notification “Your hub is connected”. While the hub is connected I can control other devices like the schlage lock, control the thermostat and check battery device levels, I just can no longer control any of the wemo smart plugs for the lights. But while I am getting disconnected notifications several times a day, I continue to be able to control the Honeywell thermostat and the wemos through their native apps with no interruption of connectivity. Would appreciate anyone’s thoughts or suggestions on how to get the wemos back online with the smartthings hub, as well as suggestions as to try to make the smartthings hub more stable, or what might be going wrong.

Hey there! @Sandra_Hind, Thanks for reaching out for assistance, I can certainly understand how frustrating this might be.

Have you already tried re-linking Wemo as a connected service? You can do so by deleting the Wemo service from Linked/Connected Services in your Smart Things Settings. After you have deleted it, attempt to re-link your Belkin Wemo Account by (+)Add Device> By Brand> Bellkin Wemo to Discover and bring your devices back online.

I hope this message finds you well!

Hi,
Thank you for your response. I did not try this, but unfortunately I have renters in the house now, and don’t want to inadvertently create more issues. But I will certainly give this a try when they have checked out towards the end of August. I had tried removing a single wemo device and re-adding which did not work.

@Sandra_Hind You are very welcome!

Keep me posted around that time in August and we can continue to look into your concerns further if the symptoms persist.
