why am i getting an email about updating… i have many custom device types and smartapps . As far as i know these are not yet supported so I should NOT get an update request.

I got an email about updating to a Samsung account. When prompted in the ST classic app.
This shouldn’t cause loss of anything, you still use the classic app even after this account update.
This is all about getting everyone transferred over to a Samsung account like all of the Account Migration Beta testers did.
It has nothing to do with the New Application.
You will still use the SmartThings Classic app and none of your Devices or Automations are affected. Same IDE to log into.
This is the prep prior to the new app being ready way down the road.
