Unable to pair Honeywell TH8320ZW thermostat

I moved to a house with a Nortek alarm panel that serves as a z-wave hub. I am able to exclude devices such as the thermostat, from the alarm panel, but I am unable to pair it with the SmartThings v3 hub that I recently purchased. I am unable to pair all the devices that were connected to the Nortek hub. All new devices I brought into the house, I was able to add to the smartthings hub.any clues on why the old devices couldn’t be paired with my Smartthings hub?

You probably need to force exclude from the network at the thermostat.

Works well on v2 hub.

Any devices previous paired need to be excluded first and reset if applicable before you can pair them.

Thank you. I realized I needed to remove the STv3 device from the app before rebooting it. Everything works fine now - with one exception: I’m unable to add the 2gig GC z-wave alarm panel into STv3 (as a secondary). Any suggestions?
