Hi to all,

Not necessarily, it can work, the same is said for all tuya devices.
You could connect it to smartthings hub (Aeotec V3 Hub), but you would probably need edge driver.
You can search in the community forum if someone already added it and provide link to driver.
I found THIS.
I’m looking for the same driver I don’t know anything about these edge drivers
I have the same garage door opener. Works with @w35l3y 's EF00 driver.
See the following FAQ:

Also, here’s the community FAQ on the edge driver installation process. If you read the first section of that, it should give you most of the information you need to understand the other threads in the forum.

Hey just wondering if you’ve managed to set up automatic routines with this device? I have mine working, and I have it set so when my wife leaves it closes the door automatically, and when she returns it’s supposed to open automatically. But it’s not actually opening or closing the door. The status on the door will change, but the door doesn’t move.
I’m not using it anymore, but it worked fine.
Does the door move if you open or close the door from the SmartHings app? If so, it’s a problem with the routine; otherwise, it’s a wiring issue with the two wires that control the door on the gate or garage door control unit. I think this is the problem.
I can control the door from the SmartThings app as designed, just sometimes it seems to get confused on the status of the door. You’d think it would take the door status from the contact sensor, but it’s not. The contact sensor will say closed but at the top of the device page it’ll say “door open” or vise versa
The door status is indicated by the sensor and this is very sensitive, sensor and magnet must be really close like 1 millimeter and also in the correct position
