Hi everyone out there in ST land… I am having an issue with Osram Lightify Flex RGBW light strip. This is the 16’ version. When I try to connect it to the app, it finds a thing but says “A new device was added, but was not the correct type. Continuing to search…” I’ve removed it & re-tried to pair about 10 times, to no avail, just keep getting the same message. For the record, I’ve also hit the “reset” button on my ST hub. Any suggestions? I don’t have the Osram app, so not sure on firmware.

Perhaps try logging into your account in the developer API and manually changing the device to a Lightify device?
