Connecting Osram flex RGBW with SmartThings hub or Hue hub

I bought Osram Flex RGBW light strips. I got everything setup and it turns on just fine. Next step is for me to connect these light strips to either Smart Things hub or Hue hub.

I see that there is an Osram Gateway. Is it necessary for me to purchase this gateway to connect to Smartthings hub or Hue hub?

I tried to add the flex strip to smart hub and also hue hub. None of these app recognizes the light strip. How do I get it connected?

It works with SmartThings. Make sure you have them close to the hub when connecting. There is a range issue if they are too far from the hub.

Thanks. I got it working. I had to reset the Osram flex RGBW.
