Triggering events only during certain time windows

Relatively new to ST, but what I want to do seems like there should be a way to automate this…so I’m probably missing something…

When my door opens, I want the open/close sensor to trigger a light turning on, but only during certain hours, like when it’s dark 8pm-2am or somehting like that.

Otherwise, it will turn on the light in the middle of the day if the door opens and I don’t want it to do that.

I did download IFTTT but I don’t see a way to do a time window on there either.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

You can easily do this with the native smart light in the SmartThings app. Click on automation/new smartapps /light and switch/smart lights
You will see the restriction under more options in that smartapps.
