Transfer Account Ownership When Moving

Is there a way to do this now? I see old threads stating it’s basically not possible unless you created the account /linked the hub to a dedicated email address and just change the password to that (which I did not do). Is that still the case?

not sure if it is available for V2 or the Home Connect

I have a V2 hub on the latest released firmware.
I do not see ‘Give device to someone else’ under ‘Edit device’.
