Anyone come up with a solution for there Nest Thermostats?
With MyNextManager dead, I have been trying to move to Home Assistant for humidity automation, but that has been a bust as there “unofficial” integration is not maintained at all and there “official” integration does not have access to set humidity.
For such a specific question, I suggest starting a new topic under automation ideas with a ? At the end of the title and you’ll probably get more responses.
Sorry, is this the end of groovy that’s shutting down my smartapps?
if I try to reactivate them, the lever disappears and when the Smartthings app is opened again, the levers are down. If I try to enter each one and save, it gives me a network error… none of the routines connected to the devices of these smartapps obviously work anymore. I’m not complaining, I’m trying to contain my frustrations, I just want to understand
If you have a Samsung Galaxy device the life360 automations can be triggered by notifications on the phone using Bixby and then a Smartthings automation

Yes, the SmartThings cloud is no longer available for custom SmartApps (ones that you added yourself through the old IDE).
Something similar to this can be done with tasker and using the SmartThings Rest API. It’s definitely a more complicated setup process, but it can be done. You can also use tasker and a plugin called AutoLocation to make geofences and have your phone set a VR presence sensor.
Am I the only one suffering from problems in the mobile app? Since a few days, I noticed that the app was updated, e.g. I now see a switch icon next to every switch in a group, so I can switch them on off from the group device list without having to go into the device one by one. I also noticed that I now see Offline on devices that have become disconnected, rather than the previous broken cloud icon.
However, since a couple of days, every time we go into Devices on the app, it crashes. This means there is no way to look at the devices in each individual room unless they are in the favourites - a huge pain. Sure, I can access them using the portal at https://my.smartthings.com/, but that’s a pain when you’re using a mobile device. I tested this on all the family’s devices, 2 One Plus phones and one Xiaomi phone - same issue on all, and so I expected that the community will have faced this, but I see nothing anywhere. Of course, I am not sure it has to do with the end of Groovy at all, but not sure where to start. It’s a huge setback for us to be almost unable to use the app.
Thank you, thank you! I looked at the headings of all the latest topics and this one did not scream out at me that it could be related, but you are right - I have loads of these multi-tile devices, using a driver created by @philh30, and they have been working almost flawlessly for a few months now.
Pity, though, that another Smartthings change is breaking things like this.
