Temp/Humidity Sensor that is Water Tight? - Steam Shower Application

(scooter133) #1

I’d like to get better control of my Bath Fan. We put in a Steam shower and since we can be in the steam shower longer that the Motion sensor can see us and time out I would like to have the Temp/Humidity sensor INSIDE the shower and then trigger the Fan if the Temp/Humidity it at a certain level.

With the Steam shower EVERYTHING in there gets wet so I’d need a sensor that is water tight. Though I can’t fond any Specs on a sensor that is water/rain tight.

Any Suggestions?

Thanks!

There are several sensors that work using probes where the probe itself is completely waterproof, and it is attached via cable so that the more delicate electronics can be placed outside the difficult environment. You might look into something like that.
