Switchbot device status not updating in Smartthings (November 2024)

I am having the same issue as well. Up until yesterday morning all was working fine. Only one device(projector) isn’t updating or recognizing if the device is on/off, whether through route/automation or manual trigger. This is the only device I have paired through Switchbot with my SmartThings hub. I have done a reset on both hubs, reconnected to internet, updated firmware, added devices new and connected them again with no luck. The projector still always shows that it’s on even after I have manually turned it off or the routine shuts it off for me.

Alexa will close and open my curtains but thinks the virtual switches are offline. The problem will be at switchbots end and is most likely caused by their most recent firmware updates

Yeah, I think this is part of a major issue with Switchbot since more than one user is having problems with the status update.

If you mean the device detail screen as in clicking on the device and going into the next screen, then yes, I have tried this as well and this is where I get the network error when I try to turn on the device. I tried refreshing the linked services multiple times but no use.

@nayelyz, Found out more issue, if the set the shade level of the switchbot blinds to 50%, it fully closes. Previously, it was opening 50% but now it doesn’t. Is this a problem from ST side or SB side?

I also have the same issue, 3 mini non matter hubs, none of them updating to ST

Hi, I don’t have the details but I know that Switchbot is aware of these issues and is already working with people in ST to check what’s going on. Once we get more info, we’ll let you know.
For now, no other actions on your side are needed. Thanks!
