I have a few Webcore pistons that rely on SHM being Armed/Disarmed. Obviously now that I migrated over to the new app that doesn’t work.
I thought I was smart and created a virtual switch, then added a built in lighting automation to turn that switch on and off if the system was armed. But apparently even the lighting automation can’t see STHM states.
Answering my own question here…
Smart lighting does not work, but it does work if you create a “automation” in the new app.
Leaving this here for anyone else that runs into the same thing.
Use this workaround:
Once it’s in place, you can use Webcore to manipulate the virtual switches instead of reading / setting SHM state.
