I have STH ETH 200 HUB and Smartthing app 1.8.29.24 on my phone. I do have the welcome code. But when i am trying to add this hub, i get a network error.
I don’t know what i should do next. Anyone seen this error and know a fix for it?
Power off the hub, remove the batteries, power it back up… what color(s) do you see on the led on the front of the hub? Any activity on the Ethernet port light? Any error codes in the ST app other than a network error?
If you purchased a Used hub, you may want to reset it.
to reset:
- remove the power cord
- remove the batteries
- insert pin in reset slot on back of hub and reinsert the power cord
- when you see the solid yellow on the led on the front of the hub, remove the pin from the reset slot
Indeed, I think this is highly possible since those that tried to install an already claimed hub mentioned they saw a “Network error”
@Youngpark, please let us know your results after performing a factory reset to the hub. Make sure the Network cable is still connected because it will delete the existing device from the past owner’s account so you can claim it.

Thank you all for your suggestions. Resetting hub was needed because it was with different Samsung account/email than ST app. All is now connected and working. Thanks,
