sat in the car when we got home for about 20 minutes trying to disarm the house and not set off the alarm. Finally gave up and walked to to all lights coming on and sirens blaring scaring the crap outta the dogs, wife pissed off at me and now she wants me to tear it all out and call Ackerman security.

… Yup. It’s unfortunate that SHM’s consequences can operate while cloud is down, but cannot be disarmed.
