My Devices > your multipurpose sensor > Device type (if Placeholder it would be an Edge Driver at which point you will need the ST app to determine the Driver)
I am not certain how to determine if it is using a device handler or not.

the type field shows the correct info. If there had been Placeholder listed… it would be an Edge Driver but since it isn’t…it is a groovy Device Handler that will be phased out within a few weeks. IDE will also be shut down by the end of this year.
You can use ST Edge Driver by enrolling in their beta channel or @Mariano_Colmenarejo Edge Driver that allows you to manage the 3 axis. To sign up for his, click on this link SmartThings. Add a little smartness to your things. and subscribe to his channel and select the Driver from his list. Then remove the multipurpose sensor and add it back by clicking on Add Device > Scan.
After that, you can manage Edge Drivers in the app. Find your Device and click on the 3 dots in the upper right and look for Driver in that pull down menu.
Note that if you remove the device you will also remove any routines or smart lighting or any other references to that device. So you may want to make screenshots of any of your logic and smart apps that you had it tied to.
