Smartthings button went in "unavailable " state. How do I reset this? I have tried to reset the button with the paper clip, but does not respond.
When you reset the button did you hold in the paperclip until you saw the alternating red/green LED’s? If not, you need to hold it in longer. Otherwise, if you don’t see the blinking LED the button may be bad.
I did held the paperclip until the red/green light was flashing. Somehow the hup did not pick the signal up. I took the battery out for 10 min and did the paring again and it works.
Not really sure what went wrong in the first place, but it is working now.
