I am running Android 6.0.1 on a Samsung phone that is by Tracfone. When downloading app says “Your device isn’t compatible with this version”. Says the Smartthings version is 1.7.45-28 updated on March 19, 2020. Does anyone know if Smartthings will even run on a Tracfone? Thanks
I too have a Samsung on Tracfone. I have the Galaxy J3 from last year, now running Android 9. I’m not sure why but the new app is not compatible. The phone meets the 2GB RAM requirement.
The SmartThings Classic app installs fine and runs. The only real issue is that the icons for devices are not displayed. It is strange that my old Nexus 7 2013 runs both apps perfectly.
