My app has started saying I’m not allowed to add emojis to the “notify members” messages / alerts.
Can this be changed back or can I do something to allow it again?
You should contact ST support and submit your request.
In the app, go to Menu and choose Contact us

I’m assuming this was never addressed as I have noticed this also. My older notification automations still have emoji’s and as long as I don’t try to change them it works fine. But all new notifications don’t allow them, which is a bummer as plain text notifications do not grab the attention of my family members.
No, I haven’t seen this brought back yet. Unfortunately, notifications are still really boring and I haven’t had any reply from smart things. It might be worth trying yourself to see if you can get an answer from them?
