SmartHub updating brand new Frame TV

Out of the box, I can’t use any apps on my Samsung Frame TV. Any time I try to open an app such as Netflix it takes me to the screen to install but won’t let me install as it says SmartHub updating. It also fails step 5 of the SmartHub connection test. Very frustrating. All wifi diagnosis run fine and I can watch Samsung TV app no problem. Only thing that works on the tv…

This forum is for SmartThings which is unrelated to SmartHub or other entertainment features of Samsung TVs. Try in the Samsung Community or contact Samsung support.

Did someone from Samsung send you here? Because then they clearly didn’t understand the issue.

SmartThings is the smart home platform to add sensors, smart lights and things like that. SmartHub is the entertainment platform of Samsung TVs to aggregate streaming services like Netflix and that has nothing to do with SmartThings.

Samsung support for all their products

If my experience with Samsung TV support is any indicative of their broader TV support, have very low expectations of getting competent or adequate support. If you just bought the TV and can do so, you might consider returning -I wish I’d done that.
