I’m trying to work out how best to use the Smarthome monitor with my dogs being around. My Arlo cameras have a pet detection feature which works quite well. But SmartThings can’t take advantage of that. SmartThings just uses the cameras as motion senses which of course the dogs would trip constantly. Does this mean I just have to stick to door and window sensors and that’s it?

Yup. I dumped Smartthings because it got so bad and I switched over to Hubitat. Much more stable and robust solution than the garbage Samsung has been pumping out since buying Smartthings.
