Smarthings TV notifications?

Hi all,

I’ve just bought a Samsung UE70RU7020 which I believe to be their budget model. It has smarthings built in and using the smarthings app I can turn the TV on off .etc .etc

Does anyone know if there is a way to get notifications on the TV itself from my smarthings hub when events happen?

Say if the garage door is left open I get a notification on the TV?

Any ideas if this is possible with this budget model TV or is the smarthings integration just simple turn off and on and channel select .etc?

I have this working now and i’m not totally sure how. It wasn’t happening before but now it is. Will get back to you.
