I bought Samsung SmartCam HD cameras for inside my house that work through my SmartThings Hub. They work well, but I had read that it is possible to have them monitor only when I am away. I can’t figure out how to do this. I have to manually turn them off and on as I come and go, or else they are constantly alerting me that I am moving around the house. Do I buy a Samsung Away Sensor, and how do I integrate it? Can Alexa help? or IFTTT? Thanks for any advice.
I did this by adding a zwave outlet that the camera is plugged into. And when I set ST to away mode the outlets turn on and turns off when I return to home mode.
