SmartAlarm Reset (I'm leaving)

Everyone,

I have my setup with SmartAlarm to provide an entry/exit delay. I also have virtual switches that run routines to arm and disarm the system. I’m trying to make this as simple as possible for my wife and children. One button to arm, one button to disarm.

The next challenge that I have is that SmartTiles takes awhile to refresh so I was hoping to make a reset switch which would:

  1. Set the Alarm to disabled
  2. Set the Alarm to Away

The reason that I want to do this is to reset the entry delay on the door we leave through. If the alarm is on and we want to leave we need to press disarm, wait for smartTiles to refresh, press arm and then leave.

I know this doesn’t sound like much but I’m on the volunteer ambulance service, so when I leave it’s in a hurry and I don’t want the alarm going off at 3am.

I’d really prefer to use SmartTitles since it shows the status and my wife likes to be able to see at a glance that the system is fine (all the doors closed, etc).

My question is how to get a SmartTile which disarms and then reArms smart alarm.

there is a tile already. if you do not have then open the smartapp settings in ST. choose option more tiles

I do not see an option to reset the alarm with one button click.

Alarm is currently set to Armed away.

I would like one tile click to reset the entry delay in SmartAlarm. I figured the easiest way to do that would be to change the alarm to disarmed and back to armed.
