@polarbear @all4dom
Check out this thread. Works great for integrating Daikin split systems.

UPDATED 1.4.1 - (11/12/2018) - Implemented fix for B-type adapters (âHostâ header case). Big thanks to @WGentine
This Device type allows the integration of Daikin Split Systems that have the optional âWiFi moduleâ installed. Most commonly, this is the âBRP072A42â module. This Device Type has only been tested with that module, however other modules (such as the BRP069A42) should be compatible.
It implements the SmartThings âThermostatâ capability, which means it has full compatibility with most thermostat automations and allows integration with platforms such as Google Home.
Note that âPâ Series units (FTXMxxP) do not support fan direction or rate controls.
Features
Ability to set desired temperature
Ability to set desired mode (Auto, Cool, Heat, Dry, Fan)
Seperate temperatâŚ

Thanks for the suggestion MRobi however unlike many people I have read through the entire thread and nothing suggests a fix for the problem I am having.

If youâre using the device handler that I linked to and having issues, you should probably post in that thread so the guy who wrote it will see it and be able to help. Reviving one from 2016 likely wonât get you many results since this thread has been dead for years.
