hello, I want to buy an split air condition controller and connect it to smartthings hub. lately I checked on few…the latest to me is sensibo sky. I have no idea about it. if anybody has connected to it or tried. can you tell me if it is compatible to smartthing hub.
you won’t find any that are integrated all that smoothly.
There is a community-developed solution that integrates the first generation sensibo pods with smartthings. but that means you’ll have to install the custom code, ST support won’t help you troubleshoot it if you’re having any issues, etc.
There’s also an IR-to-Zwave extender that can work with mini splits. But there’s no ideal solution for controlling any a/c that uses an IR remote.
