Smart Lighthing Smart App dissapeared and not longer listed to install

Today I noticed the Smart Lighting Smart App started showing me as “off” and when I tried to enable it, it give me the error “No network connection”, however it was going inside and I was able to see all my routines. But because of the error I decided to delete the SmartApp and now I dont see it anywhere :frowning:

I have that SmartApp for years with no issues, but never had to removed it until today becuase of the error given, and now it not longer available. Need help

Edit: nvm. didn’t read the title…

No worries. If you go to Routines you should be able to see it there or at least available to install if you go to Discover (maybe) but it’s not on my side, I have it before so not sure why Samsung decided to removed from my location

It should be listed with the SmartApps at the bottom of the Discover page - the one you get to with the compass icon on the Routines page.

The current Smart Lighting, which replaced the legacy SmartApp, is an app plugin that generates rules from ‘Recipes’. It appears to only be available in the USA, Canada, Chile, Mexico, UK, Ireland, Germany, Spain, and Singapore.

Hi,

I understand, but it was available for me for year with no issues

Is there a way to make a request to have it available on my location (Costa Rica),

That type of granular features the Smart lighting gives is not available on the normal routines :frowning:

BTW, there is no SmartApp section :frowning:

It probably only appears if you have created your own apps of if any ‘Automation Apps’ are available to you.

In the UK we only have one ‘Automation App’, which is Smart Lighting. That’s one more than most countries though. I believe there are a couple of others available in the US but that’s about it.

Yeah! I used to have it here too (Smart Lighting) and as you said it should be a standard/default app everywhere as is based on lights and sensors .

Anyone that have Smartthings is because wants to automate basic things like lights or sensors

I can’t even think why restrict these type of apps to few countries only when Smartthings is global :-/

Also another basic behavior should be, if you have an app, service or related installed already and wanted to deleted and re-add it, it should be available no matter what. If someone tells me is not supported on my country why is was working all these years?
