It feels like a perfect time to mention SmartThings for ships, boats, and yachts.

CES 2025 (January 7-10, 2025)

You know how it is: whenever someone in our circles dares to mention SmartThings, you immediately hear comments like, “That’s just for landlubbers,” or, “Oh, there you go again with your SmartThings!” Well, that might soon change! Because in the near future, there will be two kinds of SmartThings: SmartThings Bro, for those poor souls who aren’t exactly living the high life—your average consumer. As a long-time donor to the charity “Lawyers Without Yachts,” I feel at least a charitable connection to this group. SmartThings Pro, for us, the yacht owners (30 meters minimum, with engines pushing 250 horsepower or more). Finally, we’ll be able to check the humidity levels in the master bedroom (or “bunk,” for the dinghy owners reading this) from the St. Tropez promenade, using our Galaxy…
