Hi everyone
Just getting started. This is for my church rather than home so slightly bigger then standard.
Due to stumbling into smart home management rather than actively planning I am in the situation where I have a google nest gen 3 thermostat controlling our boiler and hot water. We have 2 zones each with a thermostat. This is working well through the nest app. 1 zone is the main church space which all we need is in place.
The other zone needs splitting into other zones to be more efficient. Having had a new energy contract we are keen to reduce the costs again. I am exploring TP link kasa smart trvs (KE100) plus room thermostats (tapo t315). As they are on a good deal. There will be 3 or 4 zones controlled by these. Toilets and kitchens we will just set the dumb trvs to 2 so there will always be open valves on the system. I will check but this includes the first few radiators on the system.
In smart things can I manage these so that if all trv zones are at temperature that the nest drops the temperature to turn off the boiler and then turns back on if they drop below their temperature during certain hours?
I believe the answer is yes but having no experience beyond managing the nest thermostats I was hoping someone could point me in the direction of the right information.
Thanks in advance
